Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how you can cancel your PingNodes subscription, and clearly separates cancellation from refunds and from deleting your data.

Six things this policy keeps separate

  • Subscription cancellation — you tell PingNodes you no longer want to continue the subscription.
  • Future renewal cancellation — the specific effect of the request above: no further charges will be made for future billing periods.
  • Current paid entitlement — the access you have already paid for in the current billing period.
  • Refund — money returned for an amount already charged; governed separately by the Refund Policy.
  • Workspace deletion — permanently removing a specific workspace and its monitoring configuration.
  • Account deletion — permanently removing your PingNodes account and all workspaces under it.

Cancelling future renewal does not, by itself, refund a charge, delete a workspace, or delete your account. Each of those is a separate action.

Who can cancel

The account owner — the user who signed up and holds the subscription — may request cancellation at any time.

How to cancel

During the current phase, subscription cancellation is handled by contacting support at support@pingnodes.com from your registered account email. Self-service cancellation through the PingNodes dashboard is planned for an upcoming release.

When cancellation takes effect

Cancelling stops future renewals. Your existing paid entitlement continues until its applicable paid billing period ends, unless a refund or remediation changes that entitlement.

Example: A customer's paid period runs from 1–30 September. The customer cancels on 12 September. Future renewal is cancelled, and current paid access continues through 30 September.

After cancellation

  • Workspace monitoring stops at the end of the final paid billing period.
  • PingNodes may grant temporary courtesy SUPPORT access after your paid period ends — see below. This is separate from an active paid subscription.
  • Workspace operational metadata is retained for a reasonable operational period before automatic cleanup, unless an account deletion is specifically requested.
  • No further charges are made after cancellation.
  • Reactivation requires a new subscription through the payment flow.

SUPPORT access after your subscription ends

PingNodes may show a workspace as having temporary SUPPORT access after paid access ends. SUPPORT access is complimentary courtesy access: it does not create a payment, renew a subscription, change historical billing records, represent paid access, or independently create refund entitlement. See the Refund Policy for how support access interacts with billing history.

Workspace and account deletion

Deleting a workspace or your account is a separate, permanent action from cancelling a subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or erase workspace data. To request complete deletion of a workspace or your account, contact support at support@pingnodes.com.

PingNodes does not promote state directly

Subscription state changes — including cancellation and reactivation — are processed through the backend payment verification system (Razorpay webhook). The PingNodes frontend does not directly activate or deactivate your workspace. This is a security design principle, not a limitation.
